Advance copies of the new issue—dated February 2008—just arrived in our office. That’s usually good news, but this time, ugh. The issue features an article by Cardinal Dulles called, “Who Can Be Saved?” And there, on page 22, at the end of the article, is a world-class printer’s error. The leading suddenly expands, forcing the last paragraphs off the page and into limbo. Worse, that is just where Cardinal Dulles makes the turn to say, “We may conclude with certitude . . . ”

Awful. Awful. Awful. We’ve made the complete text available here on the website, with our sincere apologies to our subscribers.
