Ants. Army ants have achieved a certain notoriety in popular culture; but the similar and in many ways more intriguing navy ants have somehow escaped attention, which is probably why you have not yet heard of the armada of navy ants currently headed for Miami.

We are ready for them. We have heavily fortified ourselves with fire ants. What worked for the Greeks should work for us.

It’s actually the Coast Guard ants that no one ever notices.
