ON THIS DAY in 1981, the original IBM PC (short for “personal computer”) was introduced to the world.
Looks like it was a tablet PC.
With the added advantage of a dedicated font. Removed the need to choose between hundreds of font, most of which had the legibility of a doctor’s signature.
Even sleeker than the Apple 1… IBM really did set the bar in design.
You do realize that this could be the savior of the corflu industry.
Sometimes, I enjoy taking my Remington portable down to the coffee shop and out-hipstering everyone in the room.
