As founding vice president of the Armchair Anarchist Union at my college, one of my duties was indeed to write up our official club constitution, a requirement to be a registered student organization. Knowing that no one would ever read these rules, I loaded them up with in-jokes, references, and satire. We had a “Battle and Pillage Committee” and a “Committee to Entertain C.S. Lewis”. Robert’s Rules of Order were specifically forbidden from ever being used as a guide to meeting procedure. Quorum was defined as “whatever number of members show up”. It proved a surprisingly workable set of rules for Armchair Anarchists to live by.

Does it call for day of the week code names? If so, I call dibs on Thursday.
