I think there’s more than abortion that Catholics will object to in Obamacare–though I have no evidence that any in Catholic leadership understand what’s about to hit us.

But inevitably, socialized medicine will put the government in the position of encouraging, probably with both law and subsidy, euthanasia, suicide, assisted suicide, and indirect killing via withholding of normal care for many. In about 10 years, as a senior citizen, it will be my civic duty to do myself in somehow.

The Church seems oblivious to this next “life issue,” and, in fact, by lobbying for more and more government involvement in health care under the guise of “justice,” is in fact lobbying to bring about this development.
