“They think I shouldn’t be expressing my views on this bill until they get a chance to try to sell me the language,” Congressman Stupak said yesterday in an interview. Somehow that verb, sell, seems appropriate when speaking about the monstrosity of the Senate’s version of the health-care bill. So far, Stupak isn’t buying.

Can one man stand against our gansta Administration?
If he can, after he’s done putting the spanner in the works, he’ll have to become a Republican.

He’ll cave. Just like Nelson in the Senate, they’ll give him a fig leaf and some goodies for his constituents, and he’ll fall in line.

Apparently, the White House does not believe that abortion is a matter between Mr. Stupak and his God. :-)
