Congratulations to R.R. Reno(whatever his first name is). His writing is a pleasure to read and I look forward to the pieces he’ll commission.

But like Dion here, I want to know what happened to J.Bottum. Also, why has David P Goldman made so few appearances on the website in the past couple of months?

Will Editor Reno reinstate the crossword puzzle? I thought last issue was surely an aberration due to the holidays, but today the latest issue has arrived without puzzle, too. True, the quality of the puzzle was only tolerable. (No crossword worth its salt can be completed in one sitting.) Perhaps Editor Reno has been provided with an opportunity to take an instantly laudable action that puts his stamp on the publication?
