Readers of this blog who live in the greater Atlanta metropolitan area (is there anywhere in North Georgia to which this appellation does not apply?) might enjoy the following two events, taking place at Oglethorpe University on Monday, March 14 (today).

At 4 p.m., Professor Michael DeBow of the Cumberland School of Law will lecture on “The Affordable Care Act Meets the Principle of Enumerated Powers.”

At 7 p.m., Dr. Stanley Carlson-Thies of the Institutional Religious Freedom Alliance will lecture on “Religious Exercise, Religious Hiring, and the Common Good.”

While I can’t make any promises, there might be some conviviality after the evening lecture.
