If there’s something we’ve learned from the fiasco last week with our leaders risking a government shutdown rather than let go of government funding for the nation’s largest abortion business, we’ve learned exactly what companies are supporting Planned Parenthood these days, in what it calls its “most intense short-term campaign, we have ever run.”
As Ashley McGuire notes in her Townhall article today, the beloved jewelry store Tiffany’s is about to break your heart.

Is Tiffany’s really a beloved jewelry store? Beloved by whom? I can understand loving jewelry, but who loves a particular jewelry store?
They’re a corporation. Funding Planned Parenthood sounds like a rational business decision for them to make. I’m sure childless women spend a lot more on jewelry than women with children.

This is unfortunate information, I guess (If i shopped at Tiffany’s which as Ethan pointed out I probably do not). However, the website you linked to –Townhall– is patently ridiculous. First Things is conservative, sure, but hopefully of a more intelligent(and civil) kind. Not sure it is the wisest decision to associate yourself with that site in any way.

Ethan is right.
Remember: jewelry stores stand to gain a lot by persuading people that love = jewels & good looks.
