		<description><![CDATA[I have known and admired many soldiers like the storied centurion, most of them non-commissioned officers.  He is not so exceptional as you might think.  The military culture is indeed different from civilian life and rightly so.  But it is still a human culture and we can draw lessons from it.  The military ideal of selfless service would stand us all in good stead right now.]]></description>
