Imagine my surprise when overnight he changed from a hog-nosed snake, rolling over and playing dead, to a cobra. A large cobra. A spitting cobra. A spitting cobra who took special delight in correcting Latin mispronunciations.

And today, from what I hear, he has become a teddy bear. The academy certainly is a funny little zoo.
