Any such situation is sorrowful for all involved, but most especially for the people of the OCA. The real facts may never be forthcoming, for better or worse … hopefully, this will be an opportunity for a beginning for the OCA to return to a more traditional Orthodox stance …

When sufficient facts are not disclosed then conjecture is the only reasonable result.
People who want to end conjecture or theories should provide facts.
Although I am only a layman and have no “inside” information, I believe that Metropolitan Jonah’s resignation is a great loss to the Church and to Christianity in general, especially during this time of religious persecution by the Obama regime.
