Maximillian- I feel the father, in fact the entire family have been wronged by the judicial system. Further by failing to address the birth mothers allegations of rape, the original judge should be charged with endangering the welfare of the children. What if the uncle had forced himself on one of the children while in the care of e grandparents? No sir this is a nanny state judge forcing his views on morality on the populace. Polyamory is not a crime, and if the children were not harmed in the house they should not have been removed.

This is the combination of “no-fault divorce” and the”best interests of the child” standard. The problem is, when the “best interests” are a fluid standard that depends entirely on an amoral, physical, meaning to the phrase.

The father is bad, but the grandparents are worse. The state should take over the custody of these poor children, trapped in this ‘family’.
