    The half-baked article on John Wesley’s marriage does not even acknowledge the painful note in Wesley’s Journal when his wife deserted him. But then, it is obvious that the author has not read the Journal. It is what we can expect from modernist superiority.

    I read “…Superfluousness of Religious Liberty” with no small surprise. Reason seems to be lost on those who assume their case and then wonder why others can’t see their logic. I’m referring to Leiter, given that Anderson describes him correctly. For example, let’s assume religion is irrational, then, given that, it should be excluded from consideration. Mr. Leiter would do well to read up on the sources of American religious liberty. Just as important, he should read up on history when religious liberty is taken away, whether by “rationalists” as in recent centuries or by other religions now or in the historical past.
