Although most might be onboard with the mandate I was pretty sure a good deal of Mennonites were socially conservative. It’s also a “peace church” so I think they wouldn’t be onboard with drones or any military actions under Obama.

Unfortunately, these are conservative, “unaffiliated” Mennonites. You can rest assured that “mainstream” Mennonites are fully on board Obama’s political and social agenda. (“Mainstream” in the previous sentence should be read with all the connotations of that word in the phrase, say, “mainstream Episcopalians” or “mainstream Presbyterians”.)
