First Things readers in America interested in obtaining Rupert Shortt’s new book, Christianophobia, about the relentless persecution of Christians throughout the world (which I described here), will be pleased to learn that Eerdmans will be bringing out an American edition of the book in 2013. Until then, it will be available through its British publisher.

Shortt, the religion editor of the Times Literary Supplement, has written an important and powerful book which coincides with the Catholic Church’s increasing and necessary push for a greater protection of the rights of Christians.
