This comment is directed at the contributors themselves rather then the article. Political sicience and Philosophy is not somthing that all of us study! However we all have views on how things should be. Those views have seldom been held up for scrutiney because often times we are lost in the conversation by the refering to certain men and their ideas which you have studied and know what they believe. I can certainly agree that there has been much said on these subjects. The trouble is it is very hard to make since of it because we know not the back ground of what you are saying. Help me, and others i am sure to discover the ideas of Lock and Bodin and others by humoring us just a bit and include somthing on their belief other then just saying Bodin’s view, Or lock’s ideas. I read this blog and i was amazed at how much i seemed to have learn yet it seemed as if so much more was going right over my head. I am one who has run a business, raised a family and for the most part been a good citizen. My experiences i think could help in this discussion. I am afraid however that i am left out more because of not knowing what each Phlisopher believed rather then having an idea of how things work.
