The first round of Perry vetting hasn’t laid a glove on Perry’s appeal to right-of-center voters. According to Public Policy Polling, Perry is in an incredibly strong position. He is the plurality first choice for GOP voters in a three way race against Bachmann and Romney. Perry is also the second choice for a majority of Romney and Bachmann voters. My read is that Bachmann supporters who are worried about conservative authenticity think of Perry as more authentic than Romney, and Romney voters who are worried about governing competence think that Perry is more competent than Bachmann. The incentives are for Romney and Bachmann to ignore each other and focus on destroying Perry (they would both benefit from a two way Romney-Bachmann contest.) I have no idea how they would go about doing that.

I’m not Catholic, but I tend to doubt there has been a big meeting of over a billion people relating to media coverage of Ron Paul

I think it’s absolutely astonishing that people are even thinking about the 2012 elections right now. Obama is turning our country into a fascist nation (Not Communist, rather National Socialist). His Debt deal was made in collusion with foreign powers, namely Lord David Beers of Standard and Whores, his war in Libya is in violation of Article 1 Section 8 and promotes the perpetual war doctrine of R2P (responsibility to protect a.k.a. Governance over the US military power)… Instead of protecting our nations founding doctrines the conservatives of today use these misgivings to push a candidate in the elections.. I think that would mean that they are committing treason by allowing it. It’s been long over due that people who claim to be against Obama do more than slap a bumper sticker on their pick-up truck and have impotent conversations with their buddies about how Obama is a muslim. If you wish to have a 2012 election REMOVE OBAMA before we go down with the Titanic called the Trans-Atlantic Monetary System which has more holes in the hull than we can plug up with worthless fed dollars. Wake up and fight for the country as if you realize what it took for our forefathers to secure this republic!
I think whether you want to admit it or not you should listen to the wise words of the LaRouche PAC on Policy and a way out of this crisis because it won’t be as simple as cutting the budget and deporting the immigrants believe it or not. http://larouchepac.com/node/19150
