Havel is one of a number of Czech intellectuals who carried and articulated their peoples&#039; living tradition through the purging winds that swept through Czechoslovakia in the last century.  He collaborated with those who sought to live in truth, and articulated this principle as an icon for overcoming ideology as few others have. One of his compatriots, Fr. Josef Zverina, furthers Havel&#039;s thought, showing that living in truth also means living in love, in agape.  The story of the heroic witness of the Czech Catholic Church under &quot;real socialism&quot; remains to be further displayed in English.  It is a remarkable story.]]></description>
