He’s dropping the name of popular and Tea Party-friendly New Mexico Governor Susana Martinez for VP. I don’t know anything about her. But surely he doesn’t think he needs a “game changer.” And there’s probably no way someone with that little experience could be vetted enough. Like Sarah was, she’s quite an attractive governor.

Why would a female GOP pol WANT to be the VP pick at this point? So they can be absolutely savaged and ripped to pieces by the loathsome jackals and vipers in the MSM the way Sarah Palin was? No matter whether you think she was in the end particularly well suited for the job, or whether she reacted well to all the attacks on her, the fact is that her treatment went well beyond any bounds of decency–”Prove you are the mother of your baby”? Really? “Caribou Barbie”? Really? Yeah, not a whiff of sexism there. Too bad she’s not a woman, or else I might think there actually IS a War On Women going on.
