A friend of mine, a teacher of thirty years and a graduate of West Virginia Univ. told me that Scott Walker the governor of Wisconsin didn’t get a bachelor’s degree and she was just shocked, shocked I tell you, that any right thinking person would vote for this un-edumacated boob.

I, of course, told her that not only Jesus but Ray Bradbury didn’t have a bachelor’s and they turned out pretty good.

I also informed her that of the ten stupidest people I know, seven have bachelor’s degrees.
Autodidacts don’t rule, but they should.

College today is just not very good in most places. It is a pity that we could not have the learned people also be the conservative people. Instead, everywhere we turn those of high taste and learning posses an ideology that undermines taste and education.
