And here’s begging someone like our James Ceaser, or another sane political scientist who knows one of the key fields, to provide a tag-along essay, with lesser-known examples of predictive failure, or at least, of underwhelming results.
Per Ike’s farewell address, the NSF and other similar agencies should be massively scaled back for ALL disciplines, physical science included. It’d be to the benefit of both government and to the scientific community.
