The lead guitar and bass have the necessary twang and tone quality that would make me call it “southern rock,” even though Brittany’s distinctive singing delivery kind of puts it in a rock category all its own.
You know who her voice she reminds me of, even more than Janis? White Stripes’ lead singer Jack White. I’m not trying to insult Brittany with that comparison, it’s a compliment, but that’s who her voice sounds like to me
