Kate, I agree with you, this isn’t about race. It’s about the moral collapse of society, the loss of symbols and myth, the triumph of perversity and the failure to recapture a lost reality.

This really is an argument about Christianity more than about race.

Those Christians who are calling God’s judgement into question, either through saying that there is no Hell or through saying that God is so forgiving that fear of Hell is almost irrelevant to Christians, what party do you suppose they belong to?
