The Dems & GOP both want almost everything extended. The Dems just want the top rate increased by 4% and the GOP wants it kept the same. So increase it by 2%. Done.

This is a triviality, an utterly unserious non-problem. Which of course explains why Congress and the media will obsess over it and blow it all out of proportion, to avoid acting like grownups and even pretending to deal with what actually matters.
