		<description><![CDATA[Good points, the one I found particularly interesting was the fact that Lincoln had the advantage of anti-slavery statements from the founding Fathers connecting that moral imperative to the Declaration, while there aren&#039;t any statements from the founders connecting either rights of the unborn or &quot;gender rights&quot; to the Declaration. Basically, it&#039;s up to our reason to connect the correct moral imperative to the first principle without the benefit of tradition on our side... although I would add that group and class-based rights such as &quot;gender rights&quot; are generally inimical to the individual rights framework of the Declaration, while the right of any person to live (in this case the unborn) is an individual right]]></description>
