		<description><![CDATA[I can&#039;t say anything about Hirsch&#039;s claims except from experience, but I must agree that I can even see the difference between my own children and their ability in terms of vocabulary.  The ones that have the best verbal scores are certainly better all along the spectrum of learning.  I can also say that the difference is obvious in those that I see daily in my confirmation classes and even among adults.  Thanks for the connection with the articles and for the comments.  I just want you to know that I am not out to harm your self-esteem.]]></description>
