It is the PERSONAL and EMO nature of POSTMODERN blogging that keeps me from blogging at all, lately. So much blab, or BLAB, I cannot contribute to the aggregate, no matter what font applies. Maybe I'll get over it. It's not as if I haven't any response to the world's events. I just cannot imagine why anyone would wish to READ my response. Don't you ever get to the point where you think, I HAVE NOTHING INTERESTING TO SAY, and then just shut up?

Just to report, folks, for a long time, especially in comments, I used to use all caps BECAUSE I COULDNT FIGURE OUT HOW TO DO ITALICS IN HTML. Or more honestly, couldn't be bothered to learn how. But now I know better.

And when I remember to, I try to imitate Peter's grab-the-reader-eye use of all caps for MOVIES and TV SHOWS.

Haha. aHAH. Enjoy poking fun at Straussians. Also reminds me of my grandmother who - German style - capitalized in writing all IMPORTANT words (not just the nouns), and my great grandmother who could capitalize your name with her voice. Postmodern way of accomplishing the same thing. (Note also the absence of unnecessary words. No logographic necessity for them.)
