Do you really enjoy driving them crazy on Big Think or are you feeling so lost that even the company of the Big Thinkers is a welcome diversion? There seems to be a lack of understanding on the site, that Percy isn’t just speaking of scientists because he doesn’t like them, but in fact because they come the closest to being able to transcend their limits, which is why the coming down is so hard. Sagan’s transformation to finally adding a god to his cosmos would indicate that Percy was correct about Sagan at least. Good series of blogs.
