As the Obama Administration pretends that Copenhagen was a major breakthrough, the hysterics are furious at their failure to gain control of the world’s economies and governance. From the story:
Greenpeace UK executive director John Sauven said: “The city of Copenhagen is a crime scene, with the guilty men and women fleeing to the airport. There are no targets for carbon cuts and no agreement on a legally binding treaty. It seems there are too few politicians in this world capable of looking beyond the horizon of their own narrow self-interest, let alone caring much for the millions of people who are facing down the threat of climate change.”
Sauven is right about the lack of agreement, but not the accusation of “narrow self interest.” There was a great deal of rationality in this failure. And get this comment:
WWF Scotland director Dr Richard Dixon said world leaders had failed to rise to the challenge of climate change at what had been the most important international meeting the world has ever held.
The most important the world has ever held? That kind of hysteria and self importance is one big reason why the public’s trust in the hysterics and their belief in global warming is deflating like a leaking balloon.

I followed Twitter here and read your bio. What an interesting background you have. I always enjoying hearing from people who’ve been in the middle of something and can come out with an independent thought. As we’re seeing with climate change activism these days, that’s not always the case.
Every time I say or write climate change I feel like a character in an Orwell novel – it just sounds so goofy. Yeah, the climate changes. I don’t deny that.
Anyway, I’ll be back!

The Washington Post has just posted on its website the results of its latest poll conducted jointly with ABC News:
Scientists themselves also come in for more negative assessments in the poll, with four in 10 Americans now saying that they place little or no trust in what scientists have to say about the environment.”

I’ve always thought the 325AD Council of Nicaea was the most important international meeting the world has ever held…but I’m probably just short-sighted. :-)

Copenhagen has failed. The UN has failed to address the most important crisis in human history. This is now the time for sanctions, boycotts and embargoes. A new alliance is needed. An alliance of hope and peace and justice must be built to oppose the axis of pollution, extinction and self destruction.

Mark my words, in time, “global warming” will go down in the history books as one of the biggest frauds ever perpetuated by politicians and corrupt scientists. Right next to the idea of the world being flat.

How much can you really get done in 24 hours?? Start by making a difference at home: http://tictacdo.com/ttd/Host-a-Green-Event – But tell me, are these world leaders so busy that they can’t give easily one of the most PRESSING issues in the world today a little bit more time?? It’s no wonder that nothing REAL came out of this.

[...] Funny how president Obama was greeted this afternoon with a snow storm being called possibly the “Biggest East Coast blizzard of the decade?“, after just returning from an 11hr chat which wasn’t so successful at the Copenhagen Summit. (a Global Warming activist group in desperation of saving the planet from heating up) [...]
