The oil spill is not Obama’s fault, and not his to fix. However, the political theatre based on expectations of The Messiah to solve this problem and all others is certainly fun to watch. Obama has played fast and loose with blame–now when it’s his turn to be the recipient of the blame, it all seems somehow fitting.
