The Editor’s Circle is open to anyone who has given at least $1,000 during the previous calendar year. Within the Circle, there are four membership levels:

Supporter: $1,000–$4,999.

Benefits: acknowledgment in magazine and on FirstThings.com; signed copy of The First Thousand Years: A Global History of Christianity by Robert Louis Wilken; three free gift subscriptions; invitations to First Things events.

Patron: $5,000–$9,999.

Benefits: all of the above, plus: invitations to Editor’s Circle receptions to meet the speakers and writers at First Things events.

Benefactor: $10,000–$24,999.

Benefits: all of the above, plus: invitations to Editor’s Circle dinners and discussions with First Things writers.

Pillar: $25,000 and higher.

Benefits: all of the above, plus: invitations to participate in First Things seminars with the First Things editorial staff and leading Christian and Jewish scholars such as J. H. H. Weiler, Dana Gioia, Gilbert Meilaender, Paul Griffiths, Stanley Hauerwas, George Weigel, and Rabbi David Novak.
