Immediately following Obama’s less than reassuring pledge to the world’s most famous plumber to "spread the wealth around" we’ve been treated to a shocking character assasination of a private individual and the careful if tedious parsing of Obama’s rhetorical misstep. This clip settles the issue of what the Democratic presidential candidate really believes about the redistribution of wealth, the Warren Court, the Constitution, and other related matters, including his genuinely radical economic views. As our own Peter Lawler pointed out to me by email, it says something about the organization of McCain’s campaign that they’re just stumbling upon this now.
