The Religion News Service has produced a story on the most and least religious colleges , taken from the Princeton Review . Brigham Young was first, Sarah Lawrence last.
We are producing our own analysis of the religious life and commitments of the top American universities and colleges, which will be the source for information and insight on the subject. We’re drawing on information from surveys of current and recent students, interviews with chaplains, pastors, parachurch campus ministers, and teh like, interviews with Christian and Jewish academics, and data on the academic life, including the religious courses the colleges offer.
One of our sources of information is the survey on our website . Please forward the link to any college students or recent graduates you know and urge them to fill it out. First Things readers and their children (some of whom are also readers, of course) are one of the best sources of information and insight we have. Many thanks for your help.
While I have you, can I ask you something? I’ll be quick.
Twenty-five thousand people subscribe to First Things. Why can’t that be fifty thousand? Three million people read First Things online like you are right now. Why can’t that be four million?
Let’s stop saying “can’t.” Because it can. And your year-end gift of just $50, $100, or even $250 or more will make it possible.
How much would you give to introduce just one new person to First Things? What about ten people, or even a hundred? That’s the power of your charitable support.
