Daniel A. Siedell is presidential scholar and art historian in residence at The King’s College in New York City. His work as an art historian, museum curator, and art critic explores the theological implications of modern & contemporary art. Having earned a B.A. from the University of Nebraska, a M.A. from SUNY-Stony Brook, and a Ph.D. from The University of Iowa, Siedell has served as a professor of modern and contemporary art history at the University of Nebraska-Omaha and as the chief curator at the Sheldon Museum of Art at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. His most recent book being God in the Gallery: A Christian Embrace of Modern Art, his writing has also appeared in Books & Culture, IMAGE Journal, and Art Criticism.
