We invite you to a free performance of Karol Wojtyla’s The Jeweler’s Shop, starring New York City actors and directed by First Things’s own Alexi Sargeant.

The Jeweler’s Shop is a play about marriage by the future Pope John Paul II, told with warmth and wit through the interwoven stories of three couples. We see a couple parted by war, a couple riven by bitterness, and the children of these two unions who find themselves in turn called to love. All grapple with the question: Is human love able to endure the challenges fate throws us? And if so, how?
