The situation could hardly be more dire, unless the old Roman law still survived that stated flatly, frighteningly, &ldquo;It is unlawful for Christians to exist.&rdquo; No such law operates today, but the Catholic Church in the United States behaves as if one did. The situation is this: that the Catholic Church in the United States is committing suicide through refusal to educate its people.
