Two more to add to the list:
11. Planned Parenthood’s latest ad:
As my friend Jill Stanek says, “PP now specializes in aborting natural pregnancies and inseminating unnatural pregnancies – breaking up natural families and bonding unnatural families.”
12. From a news story yesterday:
Parents are outraged after young teenagers were instructed on graphic sexual acts during a Planned Parenthood sex education class at the local high school in Shenandoah, Iowa.
“It was horribly inappropriate,” Colleen Dostal told Fox News Radio. “To do that in a mixed-gender classroom, — I truly believe it was inappropriate.”
Dostal’s 14-year-old son was one of a handful of eighth graders in the class. The students, she said, were given instruction on how to perform female exams and the instructor used a 3-D, anatomically correct male sex organ to explain how to use a condom.
But Dostal said she was most upset over the instructor simulating sexual acts using stuffed animals designed to resemble STD’s.
“I do not understand why any adult with a classroom of children would show them sexual positions,” she told Fox News Radio. “I think that’s horribly inappropriate.”

First of all, these people are nuts. Second of all, the ad looks like it’s a Toyota commercial from 1981 (“yay! we bought a reliable car!”) or a fiber/Dulcolax laxative commercial from 1986.

I thought PP believed there were too many people in the world.
Would they ever limit the amount of artificial inseminations a client may want over the decades? In 2010, a 20-year-old lesbian comes in and wants to get pregnant. She wants another child in 2012, another in 2014, and then more every two years after that for the purposes of creating a large, lesbian-headed family.
Would Planned Parenthood, which is still worried about overpopulation, ever refuse such a service? Imagine the lawsuits and dilemma among secular progressives.

(I apologize if this becomes a double post – technical difficulties)
I have long disagreed with the practice of IVF for a number of reasons, but IVF was well-established long before lesbian couples came to rely on it.
I have to object to the use of “natural” and “unnatural” as modifiers to “pregnancies”. The pregnancy itself is “natural” no matter what the means of insemination. The children thereby conceived are all of equal worth (with souls and original sin both, the whole package). To even imply otherwise is to play into the hands of the pro-choice movement. Jill Stanek should know better, and Joe, you should have known better than to quote her without comment.
Dimitri,
You actually raise an interesting question regarding Planned Parenthood’s philosophy and objectives. It may be more accurate to describe its goals as being eugenicist rather than population control – more of the “right” (i.e. “planned”) kind of babies and fewer of the “wrong” kind. ( I refer to PP as “it” to place the focus on its corporate identity. I do not know what percentage of its employees, or even board members, might adhere consciously to a belief in population control or eugenics)

Would the ad have ever showed a black man and woman with a housing project in the back ground? A white man with a mullet, and mechanic’s hands embracing an obese woman before their trailer home? No, two stylin’ lesbians with a boatload of cash make the picture. Gotta attract the ones with money to pay for it. Why not 3 or more people embracing? Why not the sperm donor lurking in the background, behind the tree? And what, exactly, are they “expecting”? Hmmm. . . maybe an unborn baby becomes a person only if she is in a lesbian’s womb. Finally.

“Mindless caring and compassion just makes me feel so . . . (sniff, sniff) . . . so . . . wait a minute, I need a moment . . . so . . . so GOOD about myself!”

Why am I not surprised at the sheer maliciousness of this post and comments? Unnatural? No wonder most people assume that Christians are hateful and ignorant.

It is NOT natural for two people of the same gender to have children together – that’s what’s unnatural about it and you know it. Stop splitting hairs. A natural pregnancy is one in which a male of the species impregnates a female of the same species.
To say that homosexual “couples” can’t have natural pregnancies is not anti-Christian or hate-speech, it’s the simple truth.

Well, you have to look at it this way…abortion’s are down, and PP needs to follow the money train. It’s all about the money people, you have to think about their financial bottom line. This doesn’t surprise me one bit, and actually I find it an encouraging sign that PP is failing, because like a floundering corporation they are trying to introduce a new product, and attract a new demographic.
