Looking for a place to hold your next convention? I know, how about the house of the Lord?

Check out this at the website of the Liverpool Cathedral:

Perhaps it’s an extension of the “coffee shop” idea in many American churches, just britished up a bit. And, given the site, it could have been “From belinis to Beatles.”

“Worship” is also on the menu bar, if you’re going to get all religious about it.

Oddly enough, it wouldn’t look so bad if the venue for hire was the Catholic Cathedral (aka Paddy’s Wigwam) as it looks like a bland concrete built conference centre. The Church of England cathedral actually looks like a Church though, which makes it all a little incongruous.

    Question:

Is it legitimate for a christian arsonist to destroy the Liverpool Cathedral rather than allow it to be desecrated like this?
