A particularly lovely video. The Dominican Sisters of St. Cecilia are expecting a large postulant class entering in August. Enjoy.

Oh, I can barely see to type. This is one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever experienced in my whole life. What JOY they exude in their love of their Lord. Just look at those children. It’s just so beautiful. Thank you so much.

Joyous. Like Maggie45, I had to wait a bit before commenting. Holy Mother Church owes so much to the women that have dedicated their lives to educating young Catholics. The sisters on the video reming me of the beautiful Ursaline Nuns that worked to educate me over 55 years ago. God Bless the all.

Oh, how beautiful! I love this order– I hope that I can join them one day, or an order like them.

Is it me, or are there a whole lot of 20 and 30-somethings in this order? That was my biggest surprise watching this video.

It looks to me, in the broader sense, that there is a huge gap between the religious community and the secular community that is expanding much quicker than we have thought it would, especially as newer generations reach adulthood. The “seculars” are becoming more hostile towards Christianity, while the religious are reaching more upward, towards Christ.

I wonder if the division of the “sheep” and the “goats” is actually happening now, before the Judgment of the Nations, not then. (Matthew 25)

[Yes, Newt, I believe the median age in the Nashville Dominicans is 30; in the Ann Arbor Dominicans the median age is either 21 or 23. The orders that are taking back the habit, the breviary and the discipline are the ones flourishing right now, and that's not surprising, given the chaotic world in which we live - admin]

They could always raise money by endorsing Dove soap; such an attractive, fresh-faced group. Remarkably un-fangtoothed; must be the combination of prayer, volleyball, teaching, and living in a supportive community.

Your embedded videos are blank boxes to me and they don’t link me anywhere. Is there a program I should download?

[Hi - I'm sorry, I have no idea. They seem to work find in Foxfire and Internet Explorere - perhaps another reader can help? -admin]

Turned out I needed to download a later version of Adobe Flash player. Just FYI.
