Barack Obama seems content to let Nancy Pelosi do whatever she wants. I guess he’s the campaign guy and she’s the actual govern-er? Clearly, he holds neither himself nor his partner, The Pelosi, to these promises which were, after all…just words.

So, a few hours ago, I read this:

As Steny Hoyer talks, a Republican aide reports that: “Dems are blocking access to their press conference. There is a list, and if you’re not on it, you can’t get through.” The aide points out: “This is a public space on the steps of the Capitol and the Mall.”

And Twittered:

This seems to be what they’re about: bunker mentalities, and shut doors

By “they’re” I meant, basically, The Pelosi
, who seems to live in a bunker, and increasingly reminds me of Richard Nixon at his paranoid and duplicitous worst.

At the unveiling of her new public-option (doublegoodspeaked to “consumer option”) healthcare bill, Pelosi closed the doors to the public.

She has a history of doing that.

When it was time to write the “stimulus” bill, Pelosi closed the doors on the GOP.

Earlier this month, her Democrats locked out the GOP again because they had something to hide. Despite all the transparency talk, The Pelosi and her party always seems to have something to hide.

Although the press seems to find it charming, Pelosi’s Bunker Mentality, which is one part doublespeak and one part seething partisanship, seems to be spreading throughout her party, and it is not good for us, not at all:

New Jersey Democrats to NJ SecState:
“Let us cheat; give us your permission to cheat”.

Kerry to Law Library of Congress: “revise recent history, please,” so that it may conform to our worldview.

Grayson:
Says GOP are “knuckle-dragging neanderthals who want to dictate to America.” He says that in the face of daily (and strong) evidence suggesting that it is the Democrat party, now the establishment, who is telling America what it is going to take, regardless of what it actually wants.

Hillary:
Blithering fool. She really is a dreadful SecState.

Meanwhile, NY’s new Archbishop, Timothy Dolan, cut from the mold of the Mighty John O’ Connor, dares to call out the NY Times for their overt anti-Catholic bias.

The Catholic Church is not above criticism. We Catholics do a fair amount of it ourselves. We welcome and expect it. All we ask is that such critique be fair, rational, and accurate, what we would expect for anybody. The suspicion and bias against the Church is a national pastime that should be “rained out” for good.

The NY Times, unsurprisingly, declines to publish.

Thank goodness, we still have alternative media, for a while, anyway.

I suggest we dissent while we still may. Remaking America seems to include the narrowing, not the broadening, of our fundamental freedoms.

More on controlling the message. They are busy, tireless little bees, aren’t they?

Madame Botox seems to be under the deluded impression that she is some sort of ruler by divine right! The quicker we destroy their majority in the House of Representatives, the quicker we can get the loony leftwingers under control. Nancy Pelosi scares me more than does the President – and he makes my blood run cold.

[But I know you don't really mean to call her "Botox" right? Cuz we don't do appearance commentary here, right? admin]

It occurs to me that bunker mentality takes hold at or near “the end” – when simple denial just isn’t enough to hold off the realization that, no matter what today’s situation is, tomorrow will see things get worse *for the person in the “bunker mentality”* – and that that is the trend moving forward with no reversal in sight.

Perhaps she has been getting drunk on her wine a few too many times. Imagine her forcing House Democrats to drink it & pretend to like it on pain of execution :)

It is a painful post to see, as the Democratic Party has truly been offering the very worst.

How could such a fine Nation, with so many wonderful Americans, empower the very worst, unethical, corrupt, misguided in Our Government?

In regards to Hillary Clinton, there is no surprise for this folly. Remember when she showed such ignorance in front of one of the World’s most famous Religious Icons in Mexico? Or announced to the World, that the Obama Administration wasn’t going to focus on “human rights” while visiting China?

Her obsession with bashing the Bush Family and distorting the Bush record, is a sign of a really troubled, insecure, disturbed individual.

Here are three vivid problems with her expression in Pakistan:

    1. Sec. Hillary Clinton is being utterly dishonest by saying, “I spent my entire eight years in the Senate opposing him (GW Bush)”. No, in fact she voted for the use of force in Iraq, authorizing the mission, in full support of the Bush Administration, using some of the most aggressive language in the Senate to justify this Military Operation.

    2. Sec. Hillary Clinton again provides the overwhelming hypocrisy the Democratic Party has now become famous for, as the evidence shows the Clinton Administration – President Bill Clinton, refused to take custody of Osama Bin Laden on at least two known separate occasions. How dare Mrs. Clinton be critical of the Pakistani Government in this sophomoric manner, complaining about their failures to capture or kill Al Qaeda terrorists?

    3. Sec. Hillary Clinton reveals a bizarre sense of ignorance regarding the current state of the GWOT. It could be another a poor attempt to distort the record of the prior Administration’s efforts in capturing and killing Al Qaeda, implying falsely no one who was behind 9-11 has been brought to justice. It is estimated, the Bush Administration eliminated some 75% of Al Qaeda after 9-11. But maybe this Obama Cabinet Member who is a principal “smart power” player, simply does not know who is currently being held in Guantanamo Bay. Perhaps Hillary Clinton doesn’t even know who Khalid Sheikh Mohammed is? The self-described mastermind of the attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon?

Joh 3:19-21 KJV And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. (20) For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. (21) But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

    Is Europe worse off?

I am also led to believe that there are proposals, which I believe Obama should enact but may not, top exten unemployment benefits beyond 6 months. As there is likely to be mass long-term unemployment through no fault of the jobless, I support this.

Far too many welfare “reforms” presuppose an abundance of jobs. In fact, there is always high regional unemployment- my native city is one of the worst affected in Europe & has been since Thatcher- & now America knows high national unemployment.

A lot of Republicans are also losing their jobs! No one is going to get rich off unemployment benefit, believe it or not, so it should last until the person finds a job.

From the time she first declared herself to be the most powerful woman in the world, I knew Speaker Pelosi was BIG trouble for this country. She is, and of course this is just my opinion, clinically insane and getting worse. Now her big fat 1900+ health care bill which contains the Death Panel provisions once again, would be laughable if it weren’t so frightening.

This entire presidential like of succession, including the president, just may be the most dreadful in my lifetime. Bar none. Yes, worse than the Democrats, even. It may be the most dreadful ever.

And the administration is picking fights with Edmunds.com because they said “cash for clunkers” might not have been as cost-effective as the administration wants it to be. Really? I mean, really? This is “the most expert White House press operation ever” at work?

    “I guess he’s the campaign guy and she’s the actual govern-er? ”

That’s what I think. Obama doesn’t do anything; Obama has NEVER done or accomplished anything except run for office. He was the electable face for the Party, the Democratic leadership is doing what it wants. How else do you think anything is getting done, with the President jetting all over the place and on television every other day?
